Ministries: Opportunities for Fellowship, Growth, and Mission

  • We worship together each Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m., and Church School program for adults and youth/young adult at 9:45 a.m.  We always meet for community and fellowship time after the worship service, and nursery care is available for families with small children.
  • We actively support and participate with many local charitable organizations, such as Community House, the Cowlitz County Emergency Support Shelter, the Caring Pregnancy Center, Love Overwhelming, and others. We also support both national and international mission work through the General Office of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
  • In order to grow spiritually in the way and light of Christ, we have various mid-week Bible studies (with both day and evening times) and specific fellowship groups and ministries. We encourage each believer to discover their own unique gifts and to use them to for glory of God.

We firmly believe that one of the clearest ways to determine a church's values is to see what their mission and outreach efforts are like.  We have many such missional and spiritual ministries that we support.  Our church community:

  • Provides financial and material aid for the Cowlitz County Emergency Support Shelter
  • Provides space for a local Narcotics Anonymous group to meet
  • Provides a bed at Community House, a local homeless shelter
  • Provides material aid for the Caring Pregnancy Center
  • Holds a cap/scarf/mitten drive each year to benefit local families
  • Supports the neighboring Kessler Elementary School by donating much-needed school supplies and food for their students, and we volunteer our time through their C.H.A.M.P.S. program
  • Supports giving both nationally and internationally through the Disciples Mission Fund
